In 2004, as part of the AFI 100 Years… series, the AFI unveiled their 100 Years…100 Songs list of the top 100 songs in American cinema of the 20th century. No surprises here, it’s the classics that get the recognition, with nothing after the 1970s in the Top 10. In fact Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ from Titanic is the only song post the 70s in the top 25!
