Barry Norman, the much loved British film critic, died in June 2017. He was best known as the host of BBC1’s Film… programme from 1972-1998 before moving on to do a similar show on Sky. A few years before his death he compiled a list of the 100 greatest films for the Radio Times who he worked for as a columnist. Norman split up his picks into 10 genres.
