It’s difficult to argue against O’Toole’s performance but perhaps Al Pacino was better in the first two Godfather films than Dog Day Afternoon and I’m not sure Tom Hank’s performance in Big is his greatest acting contribution to cinema, let alone the 15th greatest performance of all time.
