In 2017 Time Out magazine asked comedians, actors, directors and writers to share their favourite funny movies. It’s a list that appears to favour cult comedies over classics with Some Like it Hot only 15th. Monty Python rightly has two entries in the top 10 although my personal choice would be to have Holy Grail above Life of Brian.
